Key tasks: In this position the trainee will be working in the Economic Research team to support our economists in ongoing research and business projects. Tasks include preparation and management of market and patent data, econometric and statistical analysis, literature review, and supporting policy work.
Requirements: We are looking for a candidate who is a current economics student with a focus on microeconomics (esp. industrial organization) and econometrics. An analytical mindset with a strong interest in business -relevant application is a must. Interest in intellectual property and key mobile technologies is required, prior knowledge or experience is a plus. The successful candidate is familiar with at least one statistical programming language (e.g. R), familiarity with other tools for data analysis such as SQL are appreciated.
Close to graduating or, as minimum, at least halfway through your studies in the required field [detailed under each specialism], current Master’s or advanced Bachelor’s student.
